Got a metal outdoor setting that looks a little, er, under the weather? The weather is likely the cause of this. If you want it looking all shiny and new again, give these steps a whirl and make a rust-guard paint (try White Knight Paint's Ruse Guard) your best friend...

+ Apply a paint stripper over all painted areas and follow the instructions on the packet to remove the bulk of the old paint.

+ Use a wire brush to remove the last bits of flaky paint and get into the hard-to-get-to places.

+Once clean and dry you can start applying the Rust Guard: a combination of primer, undercoat, rust prevention coating and top coat all in one application. It dries as a tough gloss finish with one coat, meaning you can revamp your furniture on a Satuday just in time to relax in on Sunday!
