2012 Melbourne Decoration + Design
Back, bigger and better than ever, the International Industry Seminar Series (sponsored by
Australian House & Garden
magazine) will return over two days to FURNITEX and DECORATION + DESIGN 2012. Offering valuable insights on topics and trends influencing the design industry, the six highly anticipated seminars will be held over the 19 - 20 July 2012 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
This year's exciting line-up includes, world renown lighting designer Beau McClellan (POR) who will discuss lighting design on an epic scale. Returning to the stage is Milou Ket (NL) who will give an informative, interiors trend forecast for 2013/14 and from the United Kingdom, we welcome Chris Lefteri (UK) a leading authority who will be focusing on the importance of new materials. Our Australian guests are award-winning international interior designer, Thomas Hamel who will explore how to seamlessly integrate cultures within an interior. Interiors Addict Jen Bishop and interior designer Darren Palmer will join forces to discuss harnessing the power of social media and PR to build your business and Decoration + Design's resident trend forecaster Genty Marshall will be providing an inspired look at the future of colour and how this will affect the way we live, interact, socialise and work.
Don't miss this year's exciting Seminar program running concurrently with the Furnitex & Decoration + Design trade fairs. There's so much to see and do this July to ensure you keep one step ahead of interior trends!

Hi H&G I am about to build in Peterborough (near Port Campbell) and would love it if you did a feature on coastal planting... I have come from the suburbs in Melbourne and I still would love ome colour and"prettiness" about the garden... Can you advise please??? Cheers Jules
