It’s not always what you own, but how you display it that creates wow-worthy interiors. Most of us have some sort of office space at home.

Trying to get it in order is another matter. But if you take a little time to get your office area organised you will save yourself a lot of headaches. The first step is to cull the clutter – get rid of everything you don’t need. For paperwork that you use regularly, keep it filed in sturdy ring-bound folders.

A single colour for your folders works best. We used plain white for a fuss-free, streamlined look. For miscellaneous paperwork and stationery use boxes and woven baskets to add interest and texture. Our simple yet functional office station was created from an old cupboard that had its doors and back removed. It was then placed on castors to be mobile. An easy and economical way to recycle what you’ve got.
