Advent calendar
Step 1
With pencil and ruler, draw 24 gift tag outlines on cardboard sheets and cut out with rotary cutter or scissors.
Step 2
Cut out small squares for the number tags. Stamp a number for each day on squares.
Step 3
Place a square number tag over a gift tag and punch a hole through both of them. Repeat with remaining tags.
Step 4
Mark on plywood where you want to hang your tags.
Step 5
Hammer copper tacks halfway into plywood, on a slight angle down so you can hang your decorations.
Step 6
Hang gift tags and number tags on nails.
Step 7
Hang pretty ornaments and decorations over each tag. Let the countdown begin!
Homemade chalkboard bauble ornaments
Step 1
Thread bauble onto some twine.
Step 2
Lightly spray two coats of chalkboard paint onto bauble and allow to dry.
Step 3
Draw pictures and write words on bauble with chalk.
Homemade cookie cutter ornaments
Step 1
Place cookie cutter on photo and trace around outside with pen.
Step 2
Using craft knife, cut around your tracing.
Step 3
Run a line of super glue around one edge of the cookie cutter. Stick photo onto edge of cookie cutter ensuring the photo is facing up.
Step 4
Stick some string to back of photo so you can hang it up.
