Create a space-saving bedhead by painting a funky abstract-style mural onto the wall.

Step 1 Using a pencil, mark out on the wall how big you want your bedhead to be, so you have an outline to work within.

Step 2 Draw different-sized triangles within the marked border. (You could practise your design on scrap paper first.)

Step 3 Tape around edges of every second triangle (the shapes that aren't touching), then paint inside taped area in your chosen colours. Let dry completely. Remove tape and repeat process until all triangles are painted. Remove tape to reveal your fabulous arty bedhead.
