Note: If you're not big on sewing, fabric glue (such as Bostik Sew No More) is an effective and easy way to get fabric to stick to other pieces of fabric (for example, making a hem). You can't use it for 100% nylon or polyester, though. You can stick fabric to wooden items with wood glue.
The same goes for napkin ties - just cut to size and secure with buttons or oversized safety pins. These can be left unhemmed if you like.
Cut out fabric coasters and glue or stitch to felt.
Make a tablerunner from contrasting panels of fabric.
Line a tray with fabric cut to size, or pieces stitched together.
For a party, wrap cupcakes in strips of pretty fabric and arrange on a tray.
