Actor Matt Damon has reportedly purchased a 2,700 square metre Contemporary home in Los Angeles' tony Pacific Palisades neighborhood for a whopping $15 million.

The 7-bedroom, 10-bathroom, open-plan property includes mahogany flooring, 11-metre vaulted ceilings, sliding glass walls and a three-level atrium.

The home also has an outdoor pool, koi pond, gym, guest quarters and 5-car garage.
