Could you please give us advice on a colour scheme that has to include a black sofa and a red recliner? Also, where can I buy an old ottoman and have it re-covered?

Black and red are dynamic accent colours and I suggest you introduce ink blue into the mix. A good way to do this is by choosing rugs and cushions featuring geometric and abstract floral fabrics in this colour. Crisp white would make a great background colour as it would give a modern edge to the scheme.
