Here’s some tips for getting things in order

Now’s the time to get ready for spring by sowing spring flower seeds. Plant varieties like snapdragons sweet peas, forget-me-nots and violas.

You can also plant bulbs that’ll come to life in spring. Thinks tulips, daffodils and crocuses.

Take a close look at any potted plants. If they’ve been in the same pot for sometime, more them to a larger pot or wash the existing pot out and repot with fresh mix.

Autumn is the season for lawn problems. Dead patches in the lawn may be caused by wear and tear, grass-eating pests, root-eating pests, drought or disease. Try to identify the most likely cause and take action.
