After every room reveal, fans of The Block were given the chance to rate the rooms on style, quality and wow factor — all thanks to Toyota Corolla.
Rod and Tania came out on top overall, scoring a Toyota Corolla Levin at the grand finale auction. Overall the quality of their rooms was rated 50 percent higher than any other couple.
Josh and Jenna scored highly on style, putting them in second place overall, with Katrina and Amie and Polly and Waz closely matched on their heels.
Generally, viewers agreed with the verdicts of the judges, real-estate guru John McGrath and Belle magazine editor-in-chief Neale Whitaker, with two exceptions. While Josh and Jenna won the first room reveal — for their guest bedroom — viewers preferred Rod and Tania's bedroom.
And again, where the judges awarded the top prize to Josh and Jenna's kitchen and dining area, viewers preferred Rod and Tania's kitchen.
Bedroom 1: Josh and Jenna won on style but the public went against the judge's choice, and awarded overall prize to Rod and Tania
Bedroom 2: Josh and Jenna took out week two, scoring higher than the other couples in every criteria.
Bathroom: Rod and Tania just pipped Polly and Waz in the third room reveal.
Master bedroom and ensuite: Polly and Waz were judged the favourites in all criteria.
Living: Viewers agreed with the judges' verdict, giving Katrina and Amie the win in all criteria.
Kitchen/Dining: This was the closest run match. Josh and Jenna just missed out to Rod and Tania — Josh and Jenna had the style edge, but Rod and Tania more than made up in the quality ranking.
Exterior: Rod and Tania won in all criteria, with Josh and Jenna in second place.
