They have just two more rooms and the house exterior to finish. No wonder everyone's thoughts are turning to what life will be like when The Block finishes filming.
"We were thinking about it the other day, how hard it is going to be to leave," explains Dale, who has not only built strong bonds with the boys on The Block, but The Block itself.
"We have pretty much made our fantasy house. Now we have to give it to someone and walk away back home. It will be like having a baby for a couple of weeks and then giving it away."
Dan shares Dale's sentiment, although there is a part of him that can't wait to get back to reality.
"It's going to be hard," he explains. "But at the same time, I'm really looking forward to seeing my friends again."
As for the brothers, they're determined to continue to enjoy the experience — and not think too much about what's to come.
"We are squeezing every minute out of every week," Andrew admits. "We never sleep — there's only one show!"
But they admit they've missed their ladies.
"We have mixed emotions about leaving," Mike admits. "We can't wait to go home and see our girlfriends. But we'll be sad to leave."
Both wish they could stay on, just a little longer, after the show finishes filming to actually enjoy the fruits of their labour.
"Just for a little bit!" Mike says, laughing. "It would be nice to come home, throw the keys down, sit down and have a beer and watch some TV."
