They worked so hard on their living room, but narrowly missed out on a win to Dani and Dan. And it was all because of a couch!

"We were pretty much told that it would have been a 10/10 room — if it weren't for the couch," Dale says, clearly disappointed.

Sophie and Dale were working with a similar living space to Dani and Dan, and were interested to see what their competitor's winning room had that their's didn't.

"Their couch was not as big," Dale concludes. "They pushed it back almost to the bi-fold doors, so it blocked the big walkway."

And now they're wishing they'd done the same thing.

"It makes it look like you can fit more in," Sophie admits, although she does point out their plan has some serious draw-backs.

"You have to dodge the dining and coffee table when you walk through," she explains. "There is a lot of dodging! Whereas we have a clear walk-way. But I guess we paid for that."
