Gossling crooner Helen Croome charmed Australia with her heartfelt performance of 'Oh Darling' during The Big Fat Block Wedding challenge. So, what's it like behind the scenes of one of Shelley Craft's frantic challenges? We have a chat with Helen to find out...

"Well, I got a call from my manager one morning to say Andrew was looking for a wedding singer for a challenge they were doing," Helen says.

"It was a funny day. It was a Saturday. When I woke up, it was an ordinary day, and by the afternoon, I was on the The Block helping out Team Josh and Jenna..."

Watching as the couples hurriedly prepared wedding settings for Josh and Jenna and Polly and Waz, Helen got to see first-hand just how frantic life on The Block can be. As the search begins for 2013's Block couples, we ask Helen if she'll consider applying...

"No!" she says with a laugh. "I don't think I have the amount of knowledge or creativity you need to have to compete in The Block. I'd probably just end up rolling up into a little ball in the corner of the room. I wouldn't be able to handle it."
