It's the end of the series, everyone is tired and tempers are frayed, so it was inevitable there'd be some confrontation this week. Once again, it's Dani and Dan slap bang in the middle of it.

First, they clashed with the brothers, who were furious to discover that Dani and Dan were planning on using their landscaper to help out with their courtyard.

"I can understand why," Dan says diplomatically, "You don't want someone else using your tradies..."

"But they weren't presenting an outdoor area this week. And they have used some of our people before!" Dani points out, indignantly.

Things quickly escalated.

"During the day, we asked Drew about it. He said he wouldn't be keen. That's all he said," Dan explains. "Later in the day when I told him his landscaper was available, I said, 'If it's going to offend you, tell us and we won't use them.' It was as simple as that."

But the damage was already done — Andrew was fuming, and Dani and Dan backed down.

"We ended up finding someone else through The Buider App," Dan explains.

But the conflict didn't end there. Brad also had a run-in with Dani and Dan, over the placement of their BBQ.

"Everyone assumed we had seen the plans, but we didn't get them for our courtyard," Dan explains. "Brad got the plans, because of the kitchen, and everyone assumed we knew that and had seen them too."

Dan had just about all he could take.

"I got really angry," he admits. "I had been in that bathroom, in the house, for two days, and I've walked out and been thrown into this big argument. I just couldn't be stuffed with it anymore.

"I just didn’t have the time to argue about such a ridiculous thing. It's our courtyard and we can do whatever we want with it in the end. No one should be telling us what we can and can't do."
