When Dale had the idea to cover their roof with Astro Turf, he knew it was going to be tricky.
"Even the grass companies I rang up for advice said, 'No, you can’t do it on a roof.' I showed them!" he says with a laugh.
Dale admits it was hard installing his picnic grass concept ceiling. And it's definitely not a job for the faint-hearted.
"We put it up using contact adhesive. You roll it out on the roof and then on the back of the grass as well," he explains.
"It was a mission! We had the whole room set up with scaffolding planks. We pinned it up in one corner and then rolled it out and stapled it as well. It was mental!"
Mental it may be, but it looks amazing. Will it be enough to secure them a Bonus House Room Reveal win?
