It's Block meets Blitz when Jamie Durie joins Scott Cam and the 2012 Block couples for a one-off Domestic Blitz special event this Sunday.
To honour of an Australian community hero, the late Michael Wilson, who lost his life late last year on duty as a paramedic, our Blockheads will work together to stage a much-needed house and garden makeover for his widow, Kellie and three children, Eliza, 15, Grace, 12, and Hugo, 6.
With only four days to transform the entire Wilson home, The Blockheads will switch things up, trading partners to get it done.
Sophie and Dani will work together on the girls' bedrooms, Andrew and Lara will work on the living and dining area, Brad and Mike will complete Hugo's bedroom, while Dan will construct a new kitchen on his lonesome. Dale, a landscaper by trade, will work on the backyard with his idol, Jamie Durie.
The special also features guest appearances by The Voice's Darren Percival, cricket legend Michael Slater and celebrity chef Julie Goodwin.
Domestic Blitz: The Block To The Rescue airs Sunday 6:30pm on the Nine Network.
